For my storage shortage problem I have an idea. Instead of doubling or tripling the storage space instead base it on number of games owned. Why not just have the base size of the storage box, and add half of it for each consecutive game you buy. For instance those who have all three games would have a doubled storage space, while those who only have two games get 1.5 storage boxes, and one woudl have normal.

This wouldn't be fair to the people who didn't buy the campaigns, just like the Factions upgrade wasn't fair to the people who only had Prophecies (they gave them the upgrade later, thankfully).

it is too fair... each expansion adds two character slots it makes sence to add more storage for those additional slots

fair is fair people can still get the other expansions... thats their choice not to...besides if they dont have them they dont have the additional characters and dont need the additional storage as much as those of us that do have each expansion on one account...

seriousely what isnt fair is that i have 9 character slots (just from expansions and bonus gift) and i have the same storage as someone who only has 4 character slots...

i got 2x the characters and not even any budge on the amount of storage i get...not even an increase on the materials which btw doesn't even hold enough for a single set of the expensive stuff for even 1 of my 9 characters...

please... a request for slight storage size increase with the additional characters slots for each expansion is MORE THAN FAIR!

I agree with how more characters should give you more storage space...increasing the amount of storage space for each character sounds good I think =P Maybe an increase in material storage too...but the thing is, is ANet able to store that much information? =/

That theoretically means you could have 1 campaign but 26~char slots and still only the normal amount of storage...

If you spent $200 on character slots and only own 1 campaign you are a moron. Sorry I just have to say that.

lol at the above post. thats a little harsh. i agree som extra storage space would be nice, but not nessicary. it would save me some time having to switch to different mule characters just to find the greens i want to sell.

A couple rows in storage as not enough by far
It's obvious that players who buy all chapters - the most loyal customers should be rewarded. And the're the ones who need more storage the most.
I for example would like to craft many cool armor sets from every campagin but currently its just impossible to store them and having a special character for armor storage and having to relog 4x just to change clothes is plain ridiculous.
A very major storage upgrade is needed, expecially for those that own all 3 campagins.

Each character should have their own storage and one between them all for transfers. I have things I know are going to stay with one particular char, and I also get items I know I'll use with another char. In those cases I should be able to whack this item in the communial storage so I can retrieve it later.

but look at it this way: we can have way over 20 character but our shared storage does not increase... makes no sense if you ask me.
It's one of the biggest unattended issues of this game.

That's like saying it's not fair that only those with Factions can play a ritualist AND can get all the classes from Prophecies too. Well if some one has all three games, they're most likely going to have MANY more characters. These characters will find weapons they would like for their OTHER existing characters. This goes on between 8 characters, while some one with only one game only has 4 characters. Now is it fair that some one with twice as many characters and much more need shares the same storage amount as some one with only 4 characters and less of a need?

It was your choice to buy the expansions, knowing you wouldnt have extra storage. I have a problem with not having more storage also, as well as not getting 6 character slots t start with, so you can have one of each profession(Prophecies). I made a choice to buy 3 character slots. Didnt like doing it, but it was necessary to get GW to where I feel it shouldve been at start. Fortunately, GW was a gift, so its only cost me $30 US so far($80 if had bought it myself).

Storage per character slots.

More campaings give mor characters, the more charactrs you ahve the more storage you need.

5 slots per character should be enough.

20 for a single campaing(4 slots), 10 for each added campaing(2 lots), plus 5 more for each additional slot.

That should be enough.

But it may be a problem after a few more chapters are out as the storage would get too big to view on the screen. They would have to use the tabbing system after you reach about 50 slots.
